My thoughts (Roxana):
That's me when I first got the book, before I started to read it, then all Hell broke loose and made me feel all the angst-filled, heart wrenching emotions that can't really describe this crazy, mysterious emotional rollercoaster ride that I have the pleasure to live it. But before I really dive into this review, I have to warn you that I'm a fan of Colleen till death, so expect some serious fangirling moments. Besides who can resist to a masterpiece novel writed by one of the greatest authors in the world of contemporary romance, she can make you feel every character's emotion like is yours, and her writing style is out of this world kind of good.
But, let me tell that until this moment, Hope and Dean have been one of the most swoon-worthy, perfect couple out there and if I could give them 10 feathers, I would do it again, and again, and again, and you catch my drift, so that's being said, I hadn't thought that it can be possible that some other couple to top them. Especially, if you think about their back-ground that was filled with so much pain and sadness that I couldn't and wouldn't thought that my poor heart can bear another story like Hopeless, but I was so wrong and as you can see my emotions are still all over the place, but what I can assure you is the fact that Dean and Hope, Layken and Will are almost babies besides Miles and Tate...
“Love isn't always pretty. Sometimes you spend all your time hoping it'll eventually be something different. Something better. Then, before you know it, you're back to square one, and you lost your heart somewhere along the way.”
From the first moment when we meet Miles, we know that he isn't in a good place... He's a cynical, brooding, alluring kind of hero to the point where you ask yourself, though Tate's eyes, if you hate or love him... because he's as ugly on the inside as he is gorgeous on the outside. But, just like Tate you find yourself falling, without your consent, for him, the angel and the devil in the same man...
“It's the beautiful moments like this that make up for the ugly love”
Miles Archer is a friend of Corbin, Tate's brother and she is drawn to him on the spot, but so is he, and while she would gladly give in to their atraction, he is so closed off, that he isn't capable to break his walls and put his heart on a plate in front of Tate. Even more so, if you count the six years that have passed since he was with a woman, but what really broke me was to see him as a teen so long ago, as a happy, loyal boy and so deeply in love. I'm not going to lie you guys, Miles as a teen was... just dreamy, out of this world book boyfriend material, but Miles from the present is awful and he uses Tate, in the beginning of their story. Sure, they are friends, more or less, because like I said Miles is completely closed off, so Tate didn't really know anything about their past. And if Miles has something to say, his past will remain a secret for as long as he lives, but slowly Tate conquiers every imaginary wall ...
Forget Fifty Shades of Grey, people, because the relationship between Miles and Tate is scorching hot, with many steamy situations, almost surpassing the limits compared with the other Colleen's books, so I know you guys are for a treat, but that doesn't mean that they are erotica, not even close, just sweet and very sexy...
How could you not when someone as charming and gorgeous like Miles makes your heart flip flop with every word he says, not to mention that he's the taciturn kind of guy, so you want to hear everything he has to say. To hear about him, his past, his dark past...but in the same time I was almost afraid to see more of him, bevcause while I adored Miles as a teen, the adult version of it was broken, destroyed, jaded and you know that a relationship of any kind (even the one friends with benefits) is a mistake that could and would destroy Tate...
“Sometimes not speaking says more than all the words in the world.”
Tate is smart, kind, sweet, a realistic heroine that any reader could relate to, because while she's smart, independent, and sassy, but she's not cruel, or bossy. She has been dedicated to her studies, now pursuing her master degree in nursing, so when she meets Miles, the sparks are flying and everything that she has refused until then, and now everything changes. She knows that she can't resist her attraction to Miles, but she also knows that this agreement will break her heart in the end...
“Jesus Christ, Tate, you’re staring at his damn crotch!”
I don't want to tell you to much about this wonderful story, but I can reveal that her writing is flawless, like always, even though will see a little change, it's still a mind numbing experience. You'll still experience every emotion like it's detailed in slow motion, and Miles will steal your heart, destroy it in little pieces and then have you more in love with him than before....
When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she knows it isn’t love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.
Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.
They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.
Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.

But like I said, we will still experience many humorous scenes, and it was a real pleasure to meet Corbin (he's something else...) and Cap, one of the closest friends of Tate, who helps her understand her feelings, and will give us some very funny moments.
“That’s how it is when a person develops an attraction toward someone. He’s nowhere, then suddenly he’s everywhere, whether you want him to be or not.”
But the cherry on top of the cake was finding out Miles's secret about his relationship with his ex girlfriend, because I cried guys, and I was broken... seriously, some of you remember the drama in the Hopeless book or the Slammed... in this one, his secret is awfull, and you'll finally understand how a sweet guy can become so jaded....but the ENDING.IT.WAS.WORTH.IT!
Final Decision- I recommend this book to everyone, because no one should lose the opportunity to read such a beautiful, brilliant, wonderful novel, but please bear in mind that in the beginning Miles will be a little annoying (in some scenes) but so intense, and I loved him...
My rating: 5/5
