Review:

First and foremost I'm going to admit that I didn' read the first novel of this wonderful series. Really guys! It blew me away! It has romance, drama, betrayal, an island and a storm... and for all of you who loves music and boys... well. let's say that we have some rock stars, or future rock stars, whatever...

I don't know way I was so afraid to read the book.... ehh, so I was a little put down in the start of the novel because we have a cliche kind of subject- girl loves boy, boy loves girl, they don't tell each other because said boy it's crushing hard on said girl who is the sister of his best friend... yep, nothing new here, and the most strange and not so quite realistic part is that this boy is like a incarnation of Romeo... here I did make some strange faces when he tells her how their love is eternal, and I know, I know we all have that moment when we think that our love is forever... BUT they're nineteen and seventeen years old. How many of you know FOR SURE that your love is forever on that age and, wait for it, how many of you boys (be honest!) know that your love is forever on that age?

I don't know, maybe I'm too harsh or cynical but, for me, I didn't think that all my relationships will last that that long, I was well aware that life can get in the way and we couldn't have that perfect love...

But, first let's find out more about this story, shall we?

It begins with Ryan, Ashley and Leo- they all have been best friends since childhood, but in these last years, Ashley have been crushing on Ryan and in the last year, Ryan starts to have the same feelings for her, but how can these two be together and not complicate their friendship with Ashley's brother? Simply- they can't.So even thought they have these feelings one for the other, they don't take the relationship to the next step until Ryan and Leo go on a road trip with their band - Storm Front- then, Leo starts to suspect that something it's not quite right and confronts Ryan about his sister and why he stays so far from groupies when they're all over him...

Recenzie:

Trebuie să vă mărturisesc că sunt o mare fană a lui Johnny Deep, iar, deşi a fost incredibil în celelalte filme, rolul pe care l-a jucat în această... serie... a fost impecabil. Dar, mai multe despre obsesia... ăăăh... divinizarea? iubirea mea eternă? okay.... emoţia resimţită în faţa interpretării lui.... mai târziu.


Deci... vă va surprinde puţin, dar iniţial nici nu am ştiut că există acest film, am aflat printr-o banală întâmplare- mai exact, am pornit televizorul şi... acolo era, în toată splendoarea lui divină- imediat, ce am început să urmăresc filmul... bam! Am fost atrasă în replicile sarcastice, situaţiile umoristice şi comicul de situaţie, încât lumea mea s-a întors cu 180 de grade, iar eu am fost incapabilă de a mă opune sentimentului ce m-a cuprins....


Recunosc,în acel moment am reuşit să urmăresc filmul, începând cu scena în care Elizabeth era luată ostatică de Barbossa, dar momentele ce au urmat- precum scena de pe vas, când piraţii îşi dezvăluie adevărata faţă în lumina lunii... ei bine, nu am cuvinte să o descriu! Am fost şocată, cred că aproape am vomitat puţin- să fim serioşi, câţi dintre voi nu au fost puţin dezgustaţi de aceea scenă la început?- dar după aceea, cu cât observam mai cu atenţie aceea scenă morbidă, cu atât deveneam mai fascinată şi ştiam, în adâncul sufletului meu, la fel ca şi Elizabeth, că mi-am descoperit adevărata iubire- lumea fantastică, cu toate acele creaturi blestemate să trăiască veşnic, fără a mai simţi plăcerile lumeşti- din acel moment am 'vânat' filme de acest gen, iar după un an am descoperit şi seria Twilight, urmată de frenezia cărţilor şi filmelor cu această tematică, până în acest moment, când încă sunt îndrăgostită de lumea fantasy, dar şi de literatură universală....



Deci.... se poate spune că acest film a fost unul dintre acele momente care m-a marcat pe viaţă şi m-a ajutat să mă descopăr puţin mai mult....




Dar, revenind la subiect, Elizabeth este răpită de acei piraţi, dar nu înţelege motivul acestei acţiuni- nu este ca şi cum ea deţine un secret preţios, dar totuşi a invocat Codul, şi presupunând că acesta este motivul care o menţine în viaţă este dispusă să facă orice pentru a se elibera şi a găsi o cale de scăpare. Ceea ce nu ştie ea este faptul că se înşeală amarnic, iar micuţele ei 'adevăruri eronate' sunt pe punctul de a o muşca de fund...



Nu aş vrea să mai continui pentru a nu dezvălui prea multe şi a vă distruge plăcerea de a urmări filmul, dar ar trebui să vă avertizez că deşi primul film are un accent mai întunecat şi sinistru, totuşi nu lipseşte umorul şi comicul personajelor. Pe scurt, veţi râde cu gura până la urechi, încât nu vă veţi putea opri...

Personaje:

Jack- este un pirat cu care niciodată nu poţi ştii dacă ceea ce spune este adevărul sau doar o altă intrigă de a lui cu scopul de a obţine ceva. Este haios, dar, în viaţa reală nu aş recomanda să aveţi încredere în el. Nu este loial, ar fi capabil să-şi vândă şi propria iubită pentru a obţine ceea ce vrea (de fapt, încearcă el ceva asemănător în filmul următor).


La polul opus se află Johnny Depp, care se observă că depune foarte mult efort în rolurile lui pentru a se apropia cât mai fidel de personajul pe care îl interpretează, dar mai mult decăt prestaţia fidelă a actorului este emoţia şi micile detalii prin care se observă o notă de originalitate distinctă, aceea trăsătură care îi aparţine actorului, ceea ce reuşeşte să-l facă şi mai original pe Jack. Presupun că ar trebui să-i mulţumim regizorului pentru faptul că acordă puţină libertate actorilor, din acest punct de vedere...


Elizabeth... este un suflet prizonier în acea viaţă anostă, pe punctul de a fi căsătorită cu un bărbat faţă de care nu are niciun fel de sentimente şi obligată să trăiască o viaţă pe care nu şi-o doreşte cu adevărat. Ceea ce visează este o viaţă plină de aventură, adrenalină, emoţie, cu alte cuvinte tot ceea ce nu cunoaşte... încă, pentru că odată cu lansarea ei în acestă aventură extraordinară, ea începe să-şi descopere sinele şi să preia frâiele destinului ei în propriile mâini...

La polul opus se află- oarecum- Keira- pentru că ea fiind o actriţă de acest calibru are parte de oportunitatea de a juca în majoritateta rolurilor pe care şi le doreşte. Dar, la fel ca şi Elizabeth, ea este foarte strictă şi profesională în relaţiile cu ceilalţi, cel puţin în privinţa rolurilor interpretate...


Will... băiatul care şi-a pierdut identitatea şi care încearcă să ducă o viaţă pe care destinul i-a încredinţat-o, iar el trebuie să se conformeze. Totuşi este mulţumit de această viaţă liniştită, plină de pace şi linişte. Cel puţin până apare Jack...



Verdict Final- Un debut incredibil al unei serii incerdibile... efectele scenice sunt minunate, foarte inovative pentru acea perioadă, iar filmul s-a bucurat de un succes nemaiîntâlnit. În plus, dacă nimic din ceea ce v-am spus nu este suficient pentru a vă convinge să-l urmăriţi, vă mai ofer un motiv- PIRAŢI! Aventură! Iubire!
Okay... sunt trei motive, dar, sincer vă recomand filmul cu toată căldura posibilă...

Did I ever tell you how much I love the myths? No?


Well... I ADORE this kind of stories, even from childhood, I was attracted to Family of Influence- agents of the Olympians,the Greek gods, on Earth and controls Earth, each family controls number of countries and they execute the agenda of the gods under the guise of presidents, monarchs and dictators, they chose the rulers, wether good or bad. They put them in power and when their time is up, they remove them from power.



The story centers around Siobhan and her way of falling in love with the Greek God Apollo. He is not only the God of the Sun and the Music, but he is also someone very seductive with a lot of interest on our beautiful woman. Siobhan is a virgin at 22, but that not only makes our male-amazing characters to become almost crazy for her, but he wants her desperately. Yet, Siobhan is not ready to let go. Fate bought them together for a reason and you can almost touch the tension between these two.


Even though she does not want to admit to their connection, she is clearly affected by him, but she does not give him the opportunity to get that idea into his head. Yet, his music could destroy every single iced heart out there, his music could bring you to the realms of heaven in no time. His music could make you scream in pleasure, his music could mend your heart. His is perfection when it comes to any aspect and Siobhan is the one that can get his attention, because he seems interested only in her.


But as any in her right mind woman, Siobhan finally decides it is time to act on her instincts. She offers him her virginity, but mostly because their connection is no longer undeniable. They continue to become their own and no one else's for weeks, but then the inevitable happens.

He leaves because of some complication, she hurt him even though she didn't intent to. But when she finds out that she is pregnant everything changes. Radically.

Will Apollo come back? Will everything change?


But in the same time, Apollo has an secret agenda, a plan that includes Siobhan and in the same time the future of humanity, a future that not many Gods agree to and obviously they will try to kill Siobhan and her unborn children without a second throught. So you will have not only romance, but action and drama in the same packet, a beautiful packet that presents a new vision on the stories that we all grew with...

Capitanul Jack Sparrow ( Johnny Depp) se trezeste din nou prins intr-o intriga supranaturala. El afla ca are o datorie de sange in contul legendarului Davey Jones, stapanul infam al adancurilor oceanului si Capitanul corabiei-fantoma The Flying Dutchman (Olandezul Zburator).

Jack are o limita de timp in care trebuie sa se achite de datorie, daca nu vrea sa-si petreaca viata de dupa moarte blestemata in servitudine. Si daca asta nu este de ajuns, problema lui Jack ii atrage in incurcatura si pe Will Turner (Orlando Blomm) si Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) carora le strica planurile de casatorie, ei fiind nevoiti sa i se alature lui Jack pentru a-l ajuta.

Recenzie:


Ei bine- pentru cei care eraţi reticenţi în a urmări primul film din această serie, această continuare vă este dedicată- v-am povestit despre iubirea mea veşnică şi necondiţionată pentru Johnny Depp şi aceste filme, de data aceasta situaţia se complică şi mai mult, iar, evident, povestea devine şi mai bună!

În primul rând, eram foarte nerăbdătoare şi entuziasmată în a găsi şi viziona această continuare, dar nu mi-am imaginat că o voi iubi şi mai mult decât pe primul film! Când am ieşit din librăria Diverta cu dvd-ul în mâna mea, nu mi-am imaginat pentru o clipă că mă voi îndrăgosti şi mai mult (nici nu credeam că era cu putinţă) de această serie sau că voi ajunge, astăzi să-i postez recenzia!

Dar să o luăm cu începutul... pentru cei care nu aţi urmărit primul film, deşi eu vă recomand să o faceţi, nu este nicio problemă dacă vă decideţi să începeţi cu acest film, deoarece doar acesta şi filmul următor- Până la capătul lumii- acţiunea este strâns legată, în rest pot fi vizionate separat...

De data aceasta, Jack reuşeşte, din nou, să intre intr-un bucluc chiar mai mare decât primul, deşi în apărarea lui, nu este o problemă nouă, ci dimpotrivă, în urmă cu foarte mulţiani, Jack şi-a dorit un vapor. Iar Davey Jones i-a îndeplinit visul, cu o micăăăă condiţie: odată ce termenul se va împlini, Jack urma să muncească pentru Davey Jones, pe vaporul acestuia, timp de... 100 de ani! Ghici ce! În ciuda faptului că Jack nu a fost căpitanul Perlei Negre, din cauza răscoalei şi preluării conducerii de secundul lui, Barbossa- aşa cum ştim că s-a întâmplat în 'Blestemul Perlei Negre', totuşi Jack s-a lăudat peste tot că el este adevăratul căpitan al navei, pe atunci blestemate, aşa încât Jack şi-a îndeplinit visul, în ochii lui Jones, iar acesta din urmă îşi doreşte răsplata. Desigur că Jack nu este de acord şi încearcă să-şi evite sentinţa.

Cum? Ei bine, vă amintiţi că în recenzia anterioară am menţionat că Jack ar fi capabil să-şi vândă iubita pentru a scăpa de probleme? Nu, nu îşi vinde iubita, dar îl vinde în schimb pe iubitul acesteia... pe Will, care încearcă el însuşi să-l vândă pe Jack în schimbul eliberării lui Elizabeth...

Sună complicat, nu-i aşa? Este... dar ca întotdeauna umorul se păstrează, de fapt aş îndrăzni să spun că vom avea parte chiar de mai mult umor, sarcasm şi aventură decât în filmul precedent. Mai ales pentru că vom avea parte de interpretarea impresionantă a lui Davey Jones ( Bill Nighy) şi Bill Turner Senior (Stellan Skarsgård), care au fost pur şi simplu incredibili în rolurile lor. Nighy fiind crud, sângeros şi doar un individ lipsit de sentimente sau... inimă, iar Skasgard fiind incredibil ca tatăl cuprins de remuşcări care ar da orice ca fiul lui să nu împărtăşască aceeaşi soartă.

Efectele speciale sunt mult mai impresionante, observându-se cu uşurinţă o dezvoltare în această privinţă, spre exemplu în privinţa scenei monstrul trimis de Olandezul Zburător, Kraken, pentru a distruge vasele din scenele respectiv. Sunt scene dramatizate chiar mai mult cu ajutorul coloanei sonore.
  

În plus umorul apare chiar şi mai mult prin diverse situaţii la care nu te-ai aştepta, precum în scena dramatică cu Jack, Will şi comandantul care se luptăp pentru a pune mâna pe cheia ce le va aduce faimosul cufăr al lui Davey Jones. Iar aceea scenă presupune o roată imensă ţi o luptă de clasa întâi... nu mă credeţ? Priviţi!

 
Personaje:

Davey Jones- am ales să vorbesc despre el şi nu protagonişti, deoarece pe aceştia i-am prezentat data trecută şi urmază să-i prezint din nou în recenzia 'La Capătul Lumii'. Despre Davey Jones se spun foarte multe zvonuri- se pare că acesta s-ar fi îndrăgostit de o femeie, alţii de mare şi că ar fi fost blestemat să nu-şi găsească liniştea niciodată.... dar dacă Davey nu este mort, atunci cum poate fi ceva adevărat. Ei bine nu aflăm adevărutl.... cel puţin nu acum, totuşi este foarte adevărat că acesta este incredibil de crud şi lipsit de emoţii. Singurul lui scop în viaţă este să călătoarească pe mare, terorizându-i pe cei care nu l-au cunoscut. Iar cât despre cei care l-au cunoscut.... cred că îşi doresc să nu o fi făcut.

 
Bill Turner.... a fost singurul care i-a ţinut piept lui Barbossa, atunci când acesta a sugerat să se descotorosească de Jack. Dar, în cele din urmă moare, sau cel puţin aşa se crede...
 
Verdict Final- Un film care aduce pe micile şi marile ecrane în faţa voastră o producţie excelentă, având parte de efecte speciale care reuşesc să te impresioneze din primul moment, acest film este continuarea (chiar mai bună) a unei serii cu şi despre piraţi. Vă sfătuiesc să-l urmăriţi dacă vreţi aventură, comedie şi chiar romance...

But when the music stops playing, will they sell the home and go their separate ways or have they have built a sturdy enough foundation to last a lifetime?

Review:

A beautiful story that's the first words that comes in my mind when I think of Ryan and Portia's story. More so is sweet, and somehow, when I think about this story, I think  the title: 'Sway with me'... like 'Let go of your problems,  to your worst parts of your life and let the music take a hold of you...

You know that times when your life seems to be a constant circle of trouble and you can't find a positive fact in all your misery and then... pow... you have on your desk (or kindle) a sweet story, but it seems to only make your misery grow because the story's character have a better life than you have, and so to remind you... again... that life sucks?

Yep- that's how I was thinking those latest days when I had my book's copy and all my thoughts were concentrating on the worst aspects of my life, but then you start reading this story and the laughter comes naturally, all of the sudden life seems more easy and, certainly, less complicated then theirs and you realize that even though, the problems of your life can make your existence miserable, you'll always find your way through tin and that. You just have to stop and let it go...

But let's talk about the story... Ryan Sullivan is an ex-millionaire who had problems in the latest years because he's broke... you may ask yourself if his parents, his family is also broke. The answer will be no- his family, more exactly his parents are full of money and their life is perfect, so no, it is just him the only family member that doesn't have a cent in his pocket, but that is  because of his stupidity when it comes to women. So, when his Uncle dies and he answers to George, his uncle's attorney, he thinks that his friend Braden was pranking him. Once that he realized the layer meant business, Ryan didn't know what he did to deserve an inheritance, but he accept it anyway,because he wants with desperation to escape his financial problems  and be again in the good grace of his parents.

Ei bine, vreau sa va arat cateva dintre achizitiile mele anterioare. Stiu, din nou.... dar, ce pot spune... mi-a.a placut reactia voastra plina de entuziasm, asa ca...

Doua adevaruri si o minciuna am cumparat-o de la libraria Libris, cartile scrise de Agatha Christie le-am cumparat impreuna cu ziarul Libertatea, Nascuta la miezul noptii, Sub aceeasi stea si celelalte carti din fotografia respectiva le-am achizitionat de libraria online Elefant, la fel si in cazul fotografiei cu Bone Season, Revelatia, Dupa sapte ani, etc.

In cazul cartii Sweet Peril, ei bine sunt o mare fana a seriei, asa incat nu puteam pierde ocazia si sa nu o am in biblioteca, atunci cand a aparut la Libris, nu-i asa?

Celelalte carti din imaginea respectiva, au fost achizitionate de la Editura Litera in timpul acelor reduceri extraordinare din vara anului trecut, daca va amintiti...


Iar in privinta cartilor Divergent, Pe jumatate moarta, Jocul Minciunii si Pasiuni de sucub au fost achizitionate intimpul reducerilor cu ocazia sarbatorilor de iarna din 2011 de la Editura Leda.

Deci, pentru moment ma opresc aici si astept parerile voastre, despre cartile prezentate, achizitiile voastre si orice vreti voi...
